VolumeBinder

VolumeBinder is a simple application for Windows Vista/7/8 that runs in the background and allows you to bind global hotkeys to raise and lower the system volume.  The up/down keys can be bound however you like.  VolumeBinder is licensed under GPL v3.0.

VolumeBinder does not run under Windows XP – sorry!  Try looking for “Sound Volume Hotkeys”.

Winsplit Revolution 11.04

I am not the author of this software, but I am placing a download link here because some asshole is currently squatting on the Winsplit Revolution domain, and using it to hawk his for-profit replacement. Because Winsplit Revolution is licensed under Creative Commons, I can legally distribute the software here. Hopefully the major search engines will index this page and do people some good.

 

For those unaware, WinSplit Revolution is a small utility which allows you to easily organize your open windows by tiling, resizing and positioning them to make the best use of your desktop real estate.
